My coworker and I found this place by chance the first weekend in Madrid. This was after a friend told us to eat in La Latina on Sundays. We didn't know where to go and chose this place after looking around for a bit. It was very fortunate we chose this place that day. They have a great menu del dia for 15 euro on sundays and their specialty is Cordero Asado (roasted lamb) it is some of the best lamb I have ever had and they only have it on Sundays for lunch. You get a leg and some potatoes. This is the main course. For the menu del dia you get first and second course. For the first course you can get soup or salad or paella which is a mixta with seafood but still very good. You also get a drink and dessert which is all included. There are also other 2nd plates besides the cordero and while good, the cordero is in a league of its own! The restaurant overall is very good and they have a bar area and then a dining room off to the side. If you want to get a seat without waiting you need to get there around 130 since it starts to get busy after 2. In August they are closed on most Sundays and do not have the Cordero since it August is the month everyone takes their holidays. Staff is friendly and doesn't speak English that I have found. They know certain English words for the different foods but they are nice all the same so even if you don't speak Spanish you will still have an enjoyable meal. My coworkers and I go here every Sunday for lunch just because of the Cordero! « Ocultar
